There is always a question first, and then action
Slow Jogging is a Japanese low-intensity sports workout. In other words, it is running at a very slow pace (jogging), with a smile (the so-called Niko Niko), without feeling tired. During Slow Jogging, you do not feel exhausted
or breathe rapidly because the run is below the so-called lactate threshold.
Professor Hiroaki Tanaka from the Fukuoka University has developed the original training methods supporting the treatment and prevention of civilization diseases (including obesity and atherosclerosis).
They also support health prevention and improve health through physical activity. It is an excellent running technique for everyone, also as health prevention for the elderly.
Professor Tanaka makes us realize that you can burn the same number of calories without getting tired as you do when you run fast. So, you can achieve the same results with much less effort. Besides, during such a jog, we
land on the metatarsus (the arch of the foot), which protects us from knee joints, hips, and spine injuries.
Regular Slow Jogging training is a great way to counteract civilization diseases: diabetes, obesity, hypertension, atherosclerosis, and heart disease. Gentle, non-exhaustive jogging prevents the death ofhippocampal cells and
prevents senile dementia. Significantly, Slow Jogging reduces the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.
Playing sports has many more benefits than improving your physical condition. It improves mood and has a positive effect on mental health. The human body loves movement, but the psyche needs it too. In this way, the brain
becomes oxygenated, the body produces serotonin, and we feel much better. The most important thing, however, is that workouts take place regularly. In the case of Slow Jogging, you only need a few minutes a day each day.
"The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it to others."
Pablo Picasso
How is it possible? At the beginning, the mood improves, both through physical activity (secretion of serotonin in the body) and smile, so-called Niko Niko, which undoubtedly stimulates positive
emotions. Then, thanks to care of our physical health, we feel that our body becomes much more robust, and the figure becomes slimmer. That is when we can trust our body, which
is of great importance, especially in the case of anxiety. Most importantly, at this point, we start to feel motivated, not only in the context of regular training and physical activity but motivated to act in general.
Physical activity such as Slow Jogging, which takes place outside, makes us motivated to leave the house, meet new people, make some relationships, and feel much more at ease inall these activities. It is helpful
to do a sport that we genuinely enjoy because then the motivation becomes much greater.
"You were created to make a difference, and there’s a difference in this world that only you can make."
-Billy Cox
The pace of our life increases every year. We do not even notice the hours or days of the week that pass. Due to the lack of free time, we devote every minute to work and household chores. We focus less and less on taking care of our health,
condition or maintaining good, warm family relationships. It is not without reason that the Slow Movement has gained popularity recently.
The Slow Philosophy is based primarily on a peaceful, healthy life, communicating with loved ones, and a work-life balance. Many peoplenowadays live under stress, are constantly worried about something, and do not have
time to sit down and simply talk to loved ones or do something for themselves.
In the Home, Sweet Home, we will promote Slow Living without giving up our professional career and even, on the contrary, rediscovering it. The definition of Slow Living is, in short, happiness and simplicity. This idea allows introducing certain habits that
make people healthier, stronger, feel better and have more time for themselves and their loved ones.
